Hello Creative Friends, here are the slides from our monthly ‘Draw Together’ online sessions. In these sessions, we gather together to draw around a theme in a very relaxed and pressure free space. You don’t have to be an artist or an illustrator to join these sessions. Anyone can draw!

I ran my 1st online drawing session a couple of days ago and let’s say it was a rather intimate group! Let’s been honest here, we’re talking 3 people: my Mum, my 13 year old son and a lovely creative person who was in the 1st run of my creative membership last year .

Was I hoping for more people? of course. I am feeling down about it? absolutely not!

I understand that these things take time and I will keep trying. My friend said this to me yesterday.

“The main thing is that you’re doing something that feels meaningful and important to you. The rest will follow.”

This is exactly how I feel about my Substack and my creative work. Thank you for reminding me Claire.

Draw Together sessions are part of my paid membership. This 1st session was FREE for everyone and so are these slides. I’ll run another FREE of these after the Summer so that everyone has a chance to test out these sessions.

So here are the slides, grab yourself a pencil, some paper and a timer. You’ll find some prompts reference images as time-limited exercises.
